Pinca Mayurasana (Peacock Pose). This session shows steps towards final pose. Though the final pose is challenging at first it is ultimately a very calming, centering, light and elegant pose.
Vrksasana (Handstand or Full Arm Balance) – In this session I show how to approach this famous and energising and pose in progressive and safe steps. However it is not for beginners or those with shoulder or wrist injuries.
Pose Focus – Supta Virasana (Reclining Hero Pose)
This is a wonderful poses to expand the chest and increase a sense of hope and courage. It conditions the ankles and knees, eases period cramp, takes pressure off the heart and opens up the lungs.
The ‘Queen’ or ‘Mother’ of poses is one of the most powerful and important in yoga. This supported version is a wonderfully restorative pose and here we demonstrate how it can be done in a studio and quite simply at home.
This simple supported version of Setu Bandha can be practiced by anyone. It deepens your breath and can bring great relief to anxiety. Perfect to sooth the brain before bed after a busy day. Practice for 5-10mins
